1. The platform
BiharDirectory is an intermediary platform that helps consumers discover local businesses in Bihar and helps businesses publish a listing and webpage. We do not sell the products or services listed and are not a party to any transaction between consumers and businesses.
2. Listings & accuracy
Business owners are responsible for the accuracy of the information they publish. AI-assisted text on business pages is generated from details the business provides and is reviewed by the business before publication. Indicative prices are not binding offers. Report incorrect or misleading listings to us and we will review them promptly.
3. Acceptable use
You must not: post false, unlawful, or infringing content; impersonate another business; scrape or bulk-copy platform data; attempt to bypass security or rate limits; or use the platform to send spam. We may remove content and suspend access for violations.
4. Verification badges
A verification badge indicates only that a specific check was completed (for example, contact confirmation). It is not an endorsement of service quality and not a government certification.
5. Intellectual property
The platform, its design, and its software are our property. Listing content belongs to the businesses that provide it; by publishing, they grant us a licence to display it on the platform.
6. Liability
The platform is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for outcomes of dealings between consumers and listed businesses. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
7. Grievances & takedown
Complaints about content or listings: email manu@bne.org.in. We follow the grievance timelines under applicable Indian intermediary rules.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts at Patna, Bihar have jurisdiction.
