Cookie Policy

1. The short version

BiharDirectory uses only strictly-necessary cookies and browser storage. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no analytics identifiers. Everything we store exists solely to run a feature you asked for — signing in, keeping your language, completing a payment — which is why the site shows no cookie banner.

2. What we store

Login session (Supabase auth token, local storage) — keeps you signed in. Cleared on sign-out.

Preferences (language English/Hindi, chosen district, saved businesses — local storage) — remembers your choices on your own device. Never sent to advertisers.

Payment — during checkout, Razorpay sets cookies of its own strictly to process the payment and prevent fraud. See Razorpay’s privacy policy.

3. Managing storage

You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings, or use the app’s “Clear data” option. Doing so signs you out and resets preferences; the site keeps working.

4. Changes

If we ever add analytics or advertising technology, this page will be updated first and appropriate consent taken as required under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Questions: info@bihardirectory.com.
